Pet Friendly:
We are one of the few lodging establishments in the Bayfield area that is
"pet friendly." So - if you have a small pet (dog under 25 pounds)
or other animal. However -pigs, chickens, cows, bears, giraffes, hippos, zebras, sheep, and goats are
not allowed, nor are any other strange animals or reptiles without our permission.
Please have flea and tick control in place for your dog - as we can't guarantee that they won't get ticks & fleas if they wander back into the woods! Also ensure that your dog's nails are trimmed prior to arrival - in order to not be hard on the hardwood....
Rules:
There is No Smoking in the Cabin or on the Premises outside. No grease may be poured down the drains. Please put any grease from cooking in the trash after it has cooled.
There is a fire pit outside. Please don't use the wood pile wood (next to the cabin) for the firepit. You can use any dead wood from the treed area on the property. Please don't chop down any of our live trees!
Feel free to use the wood stove with our wood from the wood pile - but please keep the vent open on the wood stove (handle in vertical position) - so you don't get smoked out!
Amenities:
The cabin has a full size bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the other bedroom (one is under the other and pulls out to the side). There is also a vintage green couch in the living room (if you care to sleep on it), with vintage chairs throughout the living room.
There is a vintage refrigerator and a vintage Montgomery Ward stove from the 1960's in perfect condition, and a bathroom that includes a sink, shower and toilet. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout - and a wood stove for heat for those chilly evenings in October.
